INAMAX is a management consulting firm operating multiple gaming and retail companies across several states. We offer retailers the expertise needed to add or improve current terminal gaming operations, such as COAM, VLT, and VGT. We help our partners successfully manage risk while adding a highly profitable revenue stream and leveraging underutilized space.
Position Summary
Key Responsibilities
- Advise executive members on new and existing laws that impact the functionality of the business
- Oversee legal matters of the matters of the business as a whole, including acting as the business’ legal representative
- Organize and maintain all of the company’s legal documents, such as contracts corporate books, and other relevant documents
- Create new entities, manage corporate and business and licensing filings
- Organize and manage all renewal requirements pertaining to the organization's intellectual property
- Draft legal documents and contracts with executive summaries
- Summarize new and existing laws and regulations that impact our industry
- Identify legal options and, risk and mitigation strategies
- Conduct legal research and gather information pertaining to laws and regulation in varies states within our industry
- Document and present all research findings in an executive summary format
- Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before documents are executed
- Liaison with outside counsel; strategize on how to resolve the company’s cases in a favorable and cost-effective manner
- Manage regulatory and compliance-related issues; notify parties as appropriate
- Maintain relationship and coordinate all activities with all outside legal counsels and lobbyist
- Provide legal support and guidance as necessary
Qualifications & Experience
- Juris Doctor degree from accredited law school
- 4+ years of law practice within a public or private organization
- Experience with corporate governance issues and corporate secretarial duties
- Knowledge of rules and regulations pertaining to businesses
- Proficient understanding of business sensitivities and confidentiality
- Legal knowledge and expertise to provide appropriate legal advice and strategies

- Ability to communicate in writing and verbally effectively
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex legal jargon in simple terms
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in legal documentation, contracts, and other legal correspondences
- Strong critical thinking and negotiation skills
- Strong research abilities to gather and analyze and present information
- Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve legal issues, and to develop and implement effective strategies
