POSITIONS SUMMARY
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform deliveries, installation, maintenance, and small repairs of gaming equipment on-site at customer locations.
- Ability to effectively analyze and troubleshoot to resolve technical problems.
- Ability to diagnose and repair hardware, software, and gaming related equipment.
- Troubleshoot repair and replace boards, some at the component level.
- Accurately track inventory to ensure adequate levels of equipment and supplies.
- Ability to safely lift or handle 50+/- pounds.
- Conduct routine route inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Operate hand truck and other machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their equipment needs and service updates.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service processes and enhance overall customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree or certification preferred
- 3+ years as a field service technician
- Proven work experience as a field service technician
- Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record to drive a company vehicle before the start date in the position
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment
- Possess the ability to use hand/portable tools
- Familiarity with mobile tools and applications
- Excellent time management skills
- Mechanical and electrical skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- Good communication and training skills
- Must have weekend flexibility
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Familiarity with network technologies and troubleshooting.
- Experience in the Gaming industry.
- Competence with basic hand tools.
- Comfortable with learning gaming software to
- Willingness to help physically move equipment from location to location.
- Problem-solving skills to identify & develop effective solutions quickly.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with customers and team members. Spanish and/or second language is a huge plus.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in Maryland
- A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work is essential.
